What's required of my church to join?
Your church simply needs to register to participate, attend one pastor’s gathering, and commit to providing a welcoming, gospel-centered service on Back to Church Sunday (September 21).
Additional commitments are optional but will help your congregation get the most out of BTCS.

Follow the simple sermon outline (or customize it for a host/announcement slot) on September 21.
How are people directed to my church?
Each invitation directs people via QR code to an interactive map, where they can find participating churches near them. They can filter by service times, programs, and more.
Your church will have a profile with key details: description, address, service times, website, etc., to help visitors plan their visit.
If you opt into Gloo’s free texting platform (which integrates with CCB and other platforms), visitors can text your church directly.
We also recommend street and building banners, invitation cards for congregants to extend personal invites, and following our ready-made social media posting schedule to reach your community.
What is the 30 Days of Prayer?
The 30 Days of Prayer is a digital, citywide prayer initiative leading up to Back to Church Sunday.
It unites churches in praying for one another, our neighbors, and the flourishing of our city.
Each day at noon, a Scripture-guided prayer prompt is sent via text to anyone who has opted in by texting “PrayCOS” to 833-405-4302, starting August 21st.
Participating churches can choose to share it with just their staff or their entire congregation.
What's the cost to my church?
There’s no cost to join the campaign as a participating church! A generous donor has covered the entire cost of this year’s citywide campaign.
The only costs are voluntary if your church decides to purchase supplemental advertising materials.
My church is small, can we still join?
Absolutely! Small churches often see the most benefit from the campaign as our resources multiply your staff time and reach beyond what may be usually feasible.
Every church—regardless of its size—helps us reach every household in Colorado Springs.
Do I have to create my own resources?
No!

Yes! The Back to Church Sunday campaign is open to all Bible-believing Christian churches, whether denominational or non-denominational. We value unity in the body of Christ as we work together to invite our city to church.
